Child Safety Standards

1. Policy overview (Play requirements)

Google Play requires Social and Dating apps (among others) to comply with its Child Safety Standards policy. VedicMarriage aligns this page to those requirements:

1. Published standards against CSAE — this page (see section 4).
2. In-app mechanism for user feedback — report / block / support inside the product (see section 5).
3. Address CSAM — remove and act when we obtain actual knowledge (see section 6).
4. Comply with child safety laws — including reporting to authorities where required (see section 7).
5. Child safety point of contact — support@vedicmarriage.ai (see section 8).

These standards reference the product as it appears to users and on store listings:

3. Definitions of CSAE and CSAM

CSAE (child sexual abuse and exploitation)

CSAE refers to child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, for example:

• Grooming a child for sexual exploitation
• Sextorting a child
• Trafficking of a child for sex
• Otherwise sexually exploiting a child
• Soliciting personal information from anyone under 18 for sexual or exploitative purposes

CSAM (child sexual abuse material)

CSAM is illegal. It consists of any visual depiction — including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery — involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. VedicMarriage prohibits using our products to store, share, upload, or solicit CSAM.

4. Published standards against CSAE

This web page is VedicMarriage’s globally accessible published standard against CSAE. It is intended to load without error for anyone worldwide and to state our rules clearly.

VedicMarriage has zero tolerance for CSAE. Members must not:

• Engage in any CSAE behaviour on or through VedicMarriage
• Upload, share, store, request, or link to CSAM
• Create or maintain profiles for minors, or use the service to contact or target children
• Post material that exploits individuals under 18 in a sexual or violent manner
• Use impersonation, fake profiles, or messaging to facilitate CSAE or CSAM

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement or other authorities as required.

5. In-app mechanism for user feedback

Users can communicate child-safety and other concerns from within the VedicMarriage app or website without needing a separate off-platform channel as their only option:

• Report / block controls on member profiles and conversations (where available in the product)
• In-product Support / help flows to contact our team while signed in
• Email channel (also usable from the app via support mailto where offered): support@vedicmarriage.ai — use subject Child safety / CSAE

When reporting, include member IDs or profile links if known and a short description. Do not attach illegal CSAM images or videos to your report.

We review child-safety reports on a priority basis and may ask for more information to investigate.

6. How we address CSAM (“appropriate action”)

Taking appropriate action means acting in accordance with these published standards and applicable law. When VedicMarriage obtains actual knowledge of CSAM (or credible CSAE) on our platform, we will, as applicable:

• Remove the CSAM or related content from our services
• Restrict or terminate accounts involved
• Preserve relevant records where required for lawful investigation
• Report to the appropriate authorities when we have confirmed CSAM or are legally required to do so (see section 7)
• Continue verification and moderation practices described on Trust & Safety to reduce risk of misuse

7. Compliance with child safety laws

VedicMarriage complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process to report confirmed CSAM to the relevant regional or national authorities — for example cybercrime / law-enforcement channels in India, and where applicable international reporting mechanisms such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for covered jurisdictions.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then notify us via the in-app channels or support@vedicmarriage.ai.

For regulatory interpretation on CSAM and child safety matters, we also seek guidance from legal advisors as needed. Our approach is informed by widely recognised industry norms, including frameworks such as the Tech Coalition Child Safety Standards.

8. Child safety / CSAM point of contact

VedicMarriage designates the following point of contact to receive notifications about CSAE / CSAM concerns (including from Google Play) and to speak to our prevention practices, enforcement, and review procedures:

This contact is ready and able to discuss CSAM prevention and compliance and to take action when required. The same address is associated with our Google Play developer account contact where configured.

9. Age eligibility

• Members must be legally competent and of marriageable age under applicable Indian law (currently 18+ for females and 21+ for males, or higher where local law requires).
• Creating or maintaining a profile for anyone under the legal marriageable age is prohibited.
• If we learn that a member is underage, we may suspend or delete the account and take further action as required by law — including where child-safety duties apply.

10. Updates
